MICHAEL IS AN UNDERWATER CINEMATOGRAPHER WITH A DEEP PASSION FOR NATURE AND NATURAL HISTORY WORK, FROM MEGA FAUNA TO MACRO CRITTERS. MICHAEL HAS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE FILMING IN REMOTE LOCATIONS, WHILE FREEDIVING, TECH DIVING, AND ON REBREATHERS. MICHAEL HAS REGULARLY WORKS ON TVC’S AND FEATURES AND WORKS CLOSELY WITH HOUSING MANUFACTURERS TO DEVELOP NEW SYSTEMS.

Angela is a UK BBC trained Producer with over 20 years’ experience across documentaries, features & lifestyle programming for BBC, ITV, Endemol, History Channel, to name a few. She has a successful track record in managing teams, budgets & delivering international series. Based in the UAE for 15years, she works across all things production for Base, ensuring that each of the productions go off without a hitch. angela is enthusiastic, super organized and an absolute stickler for detail!

Cai is our lead man in the drone department with a wealth of experience and 1000’s of hours flying both traditional and FPV drone platforms. His expertise has taken him across the globe flying heavy lift drones as well as FPV drones on feature films, documentaries, and television commercials. Cai is arguably one of the world’s best FPV Drone Pilots with his eye for cinematography and dynamic camera movement, combined with expert flying skills and aircraft control makes him an exciting talent in the world of aerial film-making.

Will is a camera operator with a technical background and over 10 years of experience in the film industry. Will has worked his way up through the camera department as an AC and is now making waves in the world of operating, shooting across various specialist remote head platforms both on the ground and in the air.
ELLIOT HANCOCK

Elliot is a drone pilot with over a decade of flying experience. Starting out with custom built FPV drones, he has not only built his skills in precision flying at speed, but also engineering drones with tools such as CAD and in house 3D printing. Combined with a passion for photography, he took to operating drones on TV and film productions. Since then, Elliot has worked on some of the largest televised sports events across the world, and various film/drama productions flying state of the art FPV systems and heavy lift platforms.
Reid Zandbelt

Reid is a talented camera operator excelling in both aerial and ground projects. He left his finance degree behind and took to filmmaking after shooting some of the most beautiful places around the world. He relocated to Dubai and has thrived on various feature film sets, television commercials, and other commercial projects. He has the expertise, patience, and professionalism that is demanded by the industry. Reid's keen eye and skillfulness make him a great asset to any film set.

Hugo is a drone pilot with an eye for photography and cinematography. Hugo is experienced flying a variety of different drone platforms, both traditional and FPV. But it is his talents with a camera that have brought him international accolades, winning numerous photography titles. His attention to detail and precision with a drone makes him one of the most exciting up-and-coming aerial filmmakers.

ALADDIN IS AN EXPERIENCED PILOT IN BOTH TRADITIONAL AND FPV DRONES. HE HAS A BACKGROUND IN BUILDING HIS OWN DRONES, AND HE IS KNOWN FOR HIS SKILLS FLYING INDOORS AND SINGLE SHOT FPV FLY-THROUGHS. ALADDIN HAS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE FILMING IN MANY OF THE TOP VENUES IN THE UAE. HE IS ALSO AN EXPERT IN MANY OF THE GENERATIVE AI TOOLS SUCH AS STABLE DIFFUSION, LUMA AI, AS WELL AS ALL THE TRADITIONAL EDITING SOFTWARE.
MAX PHYSICK
Max is an experienced action sports and water photographer operating across the Middle East and Australia. He’s at home in the surf or on the race track, and is comfortable shooting in unpredictable conditions and fast-paced environments.
From freediving on large productions, to navigating 16s period swell, and shooting WSL pros in perfect waves, Max thrives on showcasing human performance with an artistic perspective.

sean Ruggeri is an Emmy Award-winning cinematographer filming narrative film and TV, but focusing on underwater documentaries. sean has extensive experience diving cameras in a variety of underwater housings, as well as submarines and ROV’s. Whether in unexplored ocean locations, to studio sets, Sean is ready to professionally perform in challenging logistical and technical situations.

Ricardo is an underwater cinematographer with a strong focus on wildlife and action-adventure sports. His passion for film-making led him to combine his Mechanical Engineering background with cinematography techniques, resulting in impressive imagery even in challenging underwater conditions. Currently, Ricardo serves as a director of photography for feature-length documentaries, short films, and branded content, collaborating with renowned brands like Red Bull, Lexus, and Red.

ANGELITO IS A CAMERA & DRONE TECHNICIAN WITH A KEEN EYE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND AN EXPERT UNDERSTANDING OF THE EQUIPMENT WE WORK WITH ON SET. HIS ROLE ON SET ALLOWS THE DRONE PILOT AND CAMERA OPERATOR TO FOCUS ON THE TASK AT HAND WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE EQUIPMENT, AS WELL AS TRUSTING THAT ANY POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARDS ARE RAISED AND ANY POTENTIAL INCIDENTS ARE AVOIDED.
